Prestbury is a tourist destination not only because it has a much photographed and often painted picture-postcard village centre but because it boasts a choice of restaurants, tea rooms and pubs, attractive independent shops and desirable hotel accommodation.  It is also surrounded by easily walkable footpaths, including the Bollin Valley Way, and other visitor attractions such as Adlington Hall and Hare Hill Gardens.  In addition, it is within a stone’s throw of the Peak District National Park.
